  We went to try out this Church. The Band was good... the man who gave the Church announcements had a bit of a speech impediment and was a little hard to understand. Then when it was time for the sermon to start it was a streaming video from another Church. I thought it was the most impersonal service ever. The Minister is not even in the same building... Definitely no chance to meet him... I'm all for technology but I really like the idea of a personal relationship with God. Having a Preacher streamed from 30 miles away just does not work for me. I could stay home and watch Joel Olsteen for that type of experience. Not worth the time if you are looking for a live in person sermon and a chance to speak with the minister after the service.

  In response to the two negative postings: 1) This church has so many members, it is divided among three different physical locations. One pastor speaks at each service each week, and since one person can't be in three places at the same time, the service is streamed by video to the two campuses where the sermon is not taking being conducted in person. There is a sermon schedule on the website and it is very easy to determine which location to attend on any given weekend if one wants to meet the pastor after the service. 2) If someone wants to become a MEMBER of the church, thereby having the ability to vote on issues that will impact the entire congregation, then it is necessary to complete a series of classes. This is not a requirement to simply attend a service. ANYBODY is welcome at EVERY service. 3) Yes, the bookstore is open before, during and after services - because there are TWO services on Sunday, not just one. It isn't necessary to miss part of a service to check out the bookstore - which, by the way, is filled with books on multiple topics which would benefit pretty much anybody.
